Lilac Embroidered Felt Ornament

Handcrafted by Katharina Davitt in Oregon.  Each ornament takes about 40 minutes to make.  Every layer of felt has to be stitched into place, then cut to shape and final stitched into place.  This is done in an embroidery machine and the hoop holding the project has to be removed several times to accomplish the cutting job.  It is tedious work that gets into your hand and you will feel it when you make plenty of them.  Their beauty is well worth the work.  All ornaments are one sided and the back is the color of the outer color you see or mentioned in the title.  Ornaments are about 3.5 inched in diameter.
