How We Ship Your Order

The German Corner has chosen UPS and US-Postal Service as our preferred shipping provider.
With UPS we offer shipping options such as UPS Ground, 3-Day Select, 2nd Day Air, and UPS Next Day Delivery. Please note that UPS no longer considers Saturday a regular delivery date.  They will deliver on Saturdays only with a special surcharge.  Call us, if you need Saturday delivery with UPS. 
With US-Postal Service we offer Priority, Parcel Post and International mail.

Shipping Rates

The German Corner has chosen to connect directly to the UPS and US-Postal Service databases. Both calculate shipping charges based upon the shipping destination and weight of the shipped item(s). You will have the opportunity to choose the delivery option that best fits your needs or budget.

We offer free UPS Ground shipping within the USA (where UPS Ground service is available) on orders over $150.

Custom Fees on Shipments Outside of the USA

Please note that any order may be subject to customs if shipped to a country other the USA. Your local postal office will assess custom fees, if applicable. Custom fees, if any, vary according to product purchased and tariff set by your country. Custom tariffs are rather complicated and we cannot tell you ahead how much it may be. We advise you to check with you local customs office for further information. International shipping times are not guaranteed, due to the fact that other shipping providers and customs office are involved.

Order Processing Time

All orders are usually processed and shipped within 24 hours of purchase. Sometimes, due to unexpected shortages, items can take longer before they are shipped. Every attempt will be made to notify you of any delay. All orders placed on a weekend or holiday will be shipped out on the following business day. As a courtesy, the German Corner notifies all customers via email once orders are in transit.

Shipping Restrictions/Service Interruptions

Our Service Guarantee does not apply when delays are due to causes beyond our control, such as the disruption of air or ground transportation networks.

• We only ship UPS Ground within the Contiguous 48 States. All other locations will have to use US Postal Service mail.
• UPS does not ship to P.O. Boxes, please be sure to give a street address.
• Fed Ex currently does not service our area.
• Currently we do not ship to every country. Excluded countries will not be listed in the check out area. We reserve the right to refuse orders from foreign countries.

The German Corner may choose to alter these shipping restrictions at any time. We also reserve the right to ship items with alternate carriers of methods as needed.
